KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Taylor Swift fans won’t have to wait until morning – Target is opening hundreds of stores, including several in the Kansas City metro, at midnight on Oct. 3 for the release of her highly anticipated new album, “The Life of a Showgirl.”
According to Target’s website, fans can be among the first to get Taylor Swift’s newest album on three Target-exclusive CDs. There is a limit of four per customer.

The final track, “The Life of a Showgirl,” will feature Sabrina Carpenter. Swift, Max Martin and Shellback produced the album.
