Lady Gaga penned a sweet tribute to her fiancé, Michael Polansky.
“You are MY artist of the year,” she wrote.
At the VMAs on Sunday night, Gaga took home the awards for Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration with Bruno Mars for “Die With a Smile,” and both Best Direction and Best Art Direction for “Abracadabra.”
Lady Gaga shared a sweet tribute to her fiancé, Michael Polansky.
The singer posted photos of them on Instagram and thanked him for all his work on her album Mayhem. “Dreaming up this album, making the plan, building every vision with you—talking endlessly about what we would create and do for monsters has been an experience I could not have ever imagined,” she wrote. “I love how much you love my fans and want them to be happy🖤.”
She continued, “I’m forever grateful for how much you love and fight for me. You work so so hard with me from dawn till dusk every day living the music, performances, and plans with your blood sweat and tears—to see it through every step of the way this year I am the luckiest girl alive. I love you endlessly. Having your creative partnership in our art, business, and in love—is a love I’ve never known.”
Gaga then sweetly called him a “man of many talents, a true renaissance man” and said that his mind and heart are what make him “shine.” She added, “I have seen there’s nothing you can’t do. You are MY artist of the year. And the love of my life. Thank you for making all our MAYHEM dreams come true 🖤 I love you.”
The post comes after Gaga took home four VMAs on Sunday night: Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration with Bruno Mars for “Die With a Smile,” and both Best Direction and Best Art Direction for “Abracadabra.”
In her February 2025 ELLE cover story, Gaga revealed that Polansky helped her write “like, seven songs” for Mayhem. And in the feature, he shared that he loved working with her on the album. “It’s been one of the most incredible parts of this chapter of my life, to live with and coexist alongside someone making art and being creative in ways that very few people get to experience,” he said. “I think of myself as really lucky to have been there for it.”
