I nearly fell off my chair when Felicity Jones graced the world premiere of her latest film Train Dreams during the Toronto Film Festival on Tuesday evening.

And where do I even begin with this Prada gown? It’s the kind of red carpet magic we’ve been longing for from the house—a moment that truly takes your breath away and proves the magic is still alive.
The colour was a knockout. A deep, saturated red that commands attention. So striking, in fact, it made me momentarily forget Prada’s long-standing reputation for creased gowns… only to realise there wasn’t a wrinkle in sight. Praise be.
Yes, the train might feel familiar — Prada rarely misses the chance to include one for their custom looks — but this time the execution was sharper, more modern. The open sides added just the right amount of sensuality, giving the gown an edge without overpowering Felicity’s innate elegance. She wore it with an ease that made the whole thing feel effortless.
After last year’s underwhelming pink Prada at The Brutalist Venice premiere, it feels as though Prada owed Felicity a true red carpet moment. And this time, they more than delivered.
