Swifties hoping to be first in line to score Taylor Swift’s newest album will have their chance.
Target announced about 500 stores will be open at midnight for the highly anticipated release, “The Life of a Showgirl,” on Oct. 3, including stores in and near Bucks County.
Swift shared the news of her 12th studio album last month while appearing on an episode of “New Heights,” a podcast hosted by her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, saying she worked on recording the music while in Europe on the “Eras Tour.”
“This album is about what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life during this tour, which was so exuberant and electric and vibrant,” Taylor told the Kelce brothers.
“I’m so proud of it,” she later added. “It just comes from like the most infectiously joyful wild dramatic place I was in in my life, so and so that effervescence has come through in this record.”
Taylor Swift announced her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” will drop Oct. 3.
