Jane Fonda, Mark Ruffalo, Sanaa Lathan and Marisa Tomei Set for Mental Health-Inspired ‘This is Crazy!’

This is serious: V, the Tony Award-winning playwright formerly known as Eve Ensler, has created a new project titled This is Crazy!, which will be mounted as a one-night-only production in New York as a benefit for the National Alliance on Mental Illness in honor of beloved talent manager Chris Huvane.

A high-profile cast has signed on for This is Crazy!, including Jane Fonda, Marisa Tomei, Mark Ruffalo, Sanaa Lathan, Rosanna Arquette, Lois Smith, Rachel Hilson, Olivia Oguma, Colette McDermott, Derrick Delgado, Luke Ferrari, Doireann Mac Mahon, Clarence Maclin and Mohammad Saleem. Directed by V, the 90-minute production will find the actors delivering a series of monologues described as “raw, personal perspectives on mental illness and the emotional and social complexity of the human experience.”
