Oprah kicked off New York Fashion week festivities by stepping out and flaunting her slimmer figure while posing with some of her famous friends.
The 71-year-old was in attendance for the Ralph Lauren fashion show on September 10 in New York City for the reveal of the brand’s Spring 2026 fall collection.
Winfrey wore a white top and black bottoms accompanied by glasses, a purse and black boots.
Among those in attendance were Oprah’s bestie Gayle King, Usher, Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra, Mindy Kaling, Jessica Chastain, Laura Dern, Naomi Watts and Ariana DeBose. Of course, the fashion mogul was in the house too to show off his latest collection.
It was back in 2023 when Winfrey confirmed to People that she was using weight loss medication as a part of her health journey, but admitted she made some other changes to her routine to get healthy as well.
Winfrey told the outlet, “I eat my last meal at 4 o’clock, drink a gallon of water a day, and use the WeightWatchers principles of counting points. I had an awareness of medications, but felt I had to prove I had the willpower to do it. I now no longer feel that way.”
In discussing weight-loss medications, she added, “I was actually recommending it to people long before I was on it myself.”
She further opened up about using medication and her health journey during an episode of The Oprah Podcast earlier this year when she said, “One of the things that I realized the very first time I took a GLP-1 was that all these years I thought that thin people just had more willpower, they ate better foods, they were able to stick to it longer, they never had a potato chip, and then I realized the very first time I took the GLP-1 that, ‘Oh, they’re not even thinking about it. They’re only eating when they’re hungry, and they’re stopping when they’re full.”
