The band’s back together! Long-estranged mates Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest), David St. Hubbins (Michael McKean) and Derek Smalls (Harry Shearer) reunite for one final concert, hoping it will cement their legacy.

Documentarian Martin Di Bergi (Rob Reiner, who also directed) is there to capture the often-farcical efforts to get these numskulls back on stage. He also catches us up on what the band has been up to since the original 1984 movie: crypto! mariachi! cheesemongering! Real-life rock gods Paul McCartney and Elton John make guest appearances. Even if it doesn’t go to 11, this sequel is an automatic 10 for fans.
