The official trailer for Briarcliff Entertainment’s upcoming Stitch Head movie has been released, teasing what to expect from the animated horror comedy led by Asa Butterfield (Hugo, Ender’s Game). It is currently slated to arrive in theaters on October 29.

What happens in Asa Butterfield’s Stitch Head trailer?
The video introduces Butterfield’s titular Frankenstein-inspired character as an assistant to the mad scientist who created him. He also serves as the caretaker for all of the monsters that the scientist keeps creating. However, he gets kidnapped by a circus owner who makes Stitch Head the star of his show. When the circus owner finds out about the existence of the other monsters in the castle, he plans to capture them as well and use them to make more money.
Stitch Head is described as a whimsical, heartfelt twist on the Frankenstein legend, based on Guy Bass’ bestselling novel series of the same name. The voice cast also includes Joel Fry, Alison Steadman, Rob Brydon, Fern Brady, Tia Bannon, and Jamali Maddix. The movie is written and directed by Steve Hudson, with Sonja Ewers and Mark Mertens serving as producers. Executive producers are Adam Nagle, Mark Rau, Guy Collins, Tom Ortenberg, Ronnie Exley, Jeremy Ross, and Oli Strong.
“High above the little town of Grubbers Nubbin, in a castle laboratory, the maddest of all mad professors brings monstrous creations to (almost) life… and then promptly forgets all about them,” reads the official synopsis. “So, who runs the castle? Who keeps the monsters in line, so the townsfolk don’t form an angry mob? That job falls to Stitch Head—the professor’s very first creation. He does it all, unnoticed and unthanked.
