The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards are finally here.
TV’s biggest night is set to honor the best in television on Sunday, Sept. 14, live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Fans will see their favorite shows that aired between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025, be honored during the coveted award show.
Apple TV+’s “Severance” is leading the charge with 27 nominations, while Seth Rogen’s “The Studio” is the front-runner for the Comedy category with 23 nods. HBO’s “The Penguin” dominates the Limited Series category with 24 noms.

When do the Emmys air?
The awards ceremony will air live from LA’s Peacock Theater on CBS on Sunday, Sept. 14, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, and run for three hours.

Is there red carpet coverage?
Hollywood’s top talent will walk the red carpet outside the Peacock Theater ahead of the show.
Live From E! will kick off at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
Actresses Bresha Webb and Melissa Peterman, along with designer Christian Siriano and stylist Zanna Roberts Rassi, will break down the nominees’ fashion as the stars head inside the venue.
Entertainment Tonight’s main telecast will also air on CBS and Paramount+ before the ceremony starts.

Who is hosting the Emmys?
Comedian Nate Bargatze will host the Emmys. The comic, 46, previously hosted “Saturday Night Live” twice, including during their milestone 50th season.
On Thursday, Bargatze shared a video on Instagram, rolling out the official carpet.
He wrote, “The red carpet is rolled out… the countdown to the 77th Emmy Awards is on. #Emmys #CBS.”
One day before, while on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” the funnyman said he would donate $100,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America after the ceremony.

However, the total amount is dependent on whether the winners go over or under their allotted time during their speech.
“Everybody gets 45 seconds to do all the thank-yous,” Bargatze explained. “So what I came up with is I’m going to donate $100,000 to the Boys & Girls Club… That’s what the show’s starting at. When everybody uses their 45 seconds, if someone goes over, we take away $1,000 a second every time they go over.”
“If you go under, we will put a $1,000 back on,” he added. “So you can give it back! I know people work hard for the Emmys and stuff. So I feel bad, but that’s [the plan].”

This year, many fan favorite stars are up for awards.
Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama nominees include Keri Russell for “The Diplomat,” Sharon Horgan for “Bad Sisters,” Kathy Bates for “Matlock,” Britt Lower for “Severance” and Bella Ramsey for “The Last of Us.”
Rounding out the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy category is Jeremy Allen White (“The Bear”), Adam Brody (“Nobody Wants This”), Martin Short (“Only Murders in the Building”), Jason Segel (“Shrinking”), and Seth Rogen (“The Studio”).
The workplace thriller series, “Severance,” which stars Adam Scott, Britt Lower, John Turturro, Zach Cherry, Patricia Arquette, Christopher Walken, Tramell Tillman and Dichen Lachman, earned the most nods with 27.
James Marsden, Sterling K. Brown in the hit Hulu show “Paradise.”
The “Batman” spinoff, “The Penguin,” received 24 nods while “The Studio” and “The White Lotus” nabbed 23 nominations. Netflix’s hit psychological drama “Adolescence,” meanwhile, earned 13 nominations.

Who is presenting?
A-listers who will be present at the ceremony include Stephen Colbert, Tony Goldwyn and Evan Peters.
“Gilmore Girls” stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel will also reunite to celebrate the beloved series’ 25th anniversary.

Other iconic duos presenting are “Wednesday” stars Catherine Zeta-Jones and Jenna Ortega, and “Law & Order” vets Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni.
“Euphoria” cast members Sydney Sweeney, Colman Domingo and Eric Dane are also slated to appear.
