Britney Spears is not protecting herself when it comes to finding love, according to a source.
“The fear is she’s taking chances dating guys she doesn’t even know that well, guys she’s met on social media or worked for her in some capacity at the house,” the source tells Globe.
“She’s randomly picking workers in her household and making them part of her squad,” the source claims. “She’s built a network of so-called ‘friends’ that way.”
The source notes the pop star, 43, doesn’t make them sign NDAs as “she worries that she’ll drive them away,” and wants to make sure “her needs are met, both emotionally and physically.”
“These guys are coming to her home, living the high life. If and when they go out, she pays for everything,” the source adds.

Previously, the “Circus” singer was in an on-again-off-again relationship with Paul Soliz, who once worked as a handyman at her California home, but the pair split earlier this year.
A source told the Daily Mail on Wednesday, September 10, that Spears has been known to respond to potential suitors on social media.
“It takes a certain type of guy to slide into her DMs, and of course she gets a lot of them and I don’t think she responds often, but I know it has happened,” the source told the outlet. “She’s attracted to confidence, and it takes a confident man to decide that he’s going to message her and start chatting.”
Spears has also been vocal about her love life, sharing in a September 7 Instagram post that she went on a bad date.
