Actor Ernest W. Heinz was arrested in New Jersey on Thursday after allegedly shooting a woman in the face in connection with a road rage incident.
The incident took place at around 12:52 p.m. on W. Jimmie Leeds Road, near Redwood Avenue.
Heinz, 46, has been charged with attempted homicide after he fired a gun at a woman while their cars were both stopped at a red light. Authorities report that the woman, Maritza Arias-Galva, had signaled to merge when Heinz’s car cut her off. At the light, Heinz allegedly yelled at Arias-Galva and threatened to kill her before he fired the single shot.
