The ballroom is officially open because “Dancing With the Stars” is back for Season 34!
On Tuesday, Sept. 16, 14 celebrities and their professional partners will be introduced in the two-hour Season 34 premiere and begin their pursuit for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.
ABC previously announced the cast on Sept. 3, revealing that wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, a couple stars of “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” and more famous faces will be trying their best to master ballroom and Latin dances like the Salsa, Cha Cha, Tango and Jive every week.
They’ll be critiqued by Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough, who are returning to the judges’ table this season. Meanwhile, Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough are also returning as co-hosts.

The network shared in a press release what fans can expect from the first episode as the long-running competition show will be celebrating its 20th anniversary.
“The season premiere will feature a high-energy opening number to ‘Kill the Lights’ by Whitney Myer, choreographed by Ray Leeper,” the press release reads. “Plus, there will be a performance from the all-new troupe, Carter Williams, Hailey Bills, Onye Stevenson and Jaxon Willard to ‘Just Keep Watching’ by Tate McRae.”
