Davis Mallory is publicly discussing his sexuality.
Over the weekend, the reality star — who identified as a “Gay Christian” on MTV’s The Challenge, per the Daily Beast — penned a lengthy Instagram post about God, captioning it “This morning’s revelation…let me know your thoughts?”
One fan commented on the post asking, “Do you still consider yourself gay?”
The Real World: Denver alum, 42, then responded with a question: “What does it mean to be gay?”
“Are you attracted to men? Do you sleep with men?” the fan clarified.
“Do I find men beautiful? Yes of course. Do I find women beautiful? Yes of course,” Mallory wrote. “We are created in God’s image and in His likeness. The beauty of creation gives glory to the Creator. I’ll ask you this. What do you believe the design of sex is for? What do you believe is sexually immoral behavior?”
The fan then asked in part, “Are you sexually attracted to men? And do you have sex with men?” to which Mallory replied, writing, “to answer your question directly then NO & NO.”
When the fan asked if Mallory had “participated in a conversion therapy of sorts” he said, “not really. But God started giving me vivid dreams and healed me from trauma and showed me the spiritual warfare i was under.”

In 2013, Mallory gave a TEDx talk where he opened up about coming out as gay.
“2005 is when I came out to my peers,” he shared. “I had a great warm welcome from my friends from college — my family not the same.”
“I started going to Christian therapy, and I tried to change that about me,” he admitted. “I lived a lot of my life kind of in hiding of something that I knew I couldn’t change, but a lot of people thought I could, and I tried to.”
