‘Harry Wild’ Stages ‘Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman’ Reunion

Harry Wild Season 5 has officially started filming, and it’s staging a Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman reunion with Jane Seymour and Joe Lando! Acorn TV revealed Lando’s casting on Wednesday, September 17, sharing with the announcement two photos of Seymour on set with costars Lando and Rohan Nedd.

Harry Wild was renewed for Season 5 in June. Filming begins this week in Dublin, Ireland. Lando and Seymour played love interests, Byron Sully and Dr. Michaela Quinn, in Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Seymour previously told TV Insider that if they were to reboot the series, Michaela and Sully would be a long-time married couple.

In the cozy mystery series, Harriet Wild (a.k.a. Harry) is a retired literature professor who finds a second act as a private investigator, and her partner in investigation is the young sleuth Fergus Reid (Nedd). Seymour previously told TV Insider that Harry Wild is “the best show to work on,” explaining that she and Rohan “get on so fabulously” and that Paul Tylak has the cast “in stitches” in his role as Welsh Glenn.

“We love the material as well, though,” she added. “There are plenty of clever mysteries, but it’s the poignant moments with family and the funny moments we have in [the] script that keep it such fun.”

When does Harry Wild Season 5 premiere?

Harry Wild Season 5 will consist of six episodes and will debut in 2026.

Ahead of the new season, a two-part Harry Wild Special will debut exclusively on Acorn TV on Monday, November 24.

In Season 5, Harry and Fergus are back with their most sensational and thrilling ride yet, including murder mysteries in the world of whiskey-making, theatre, and musical tattoos, not to mention a gang of middle-aged lady burglars and a murder close to home.
