If you’ve ever wanted to explore the moon, you can do so right now. All you need to do is go to Boston.
“The Moonwalkers: A Journey With Tom Hanks,” is an exhibition happening now until early 2026 at Saunders Castle at Park Plaza, 130 Columbus Ave. Boston, MA.
It is being brought to the region by Lightroom and the Paquin Entertainment Group.
The exhibit “is an immersive experience that takes visitors on a voyage to the moon, “combining powerful storytelling, rare NASA archival footage, and cutting-edge spatial audio to bring the gripping stories of the Apollo missions to life,” according to a release about the event.

What is the ‘Moonwalkers’ exhibit in Boston?
The exhibit is narrated by Tom Hank, who is also the executive producer of the exhibit along with co-writer Christopher Riley.
“As a kid, I was deeply affected by the Apollo missions and the dedication and commitment of the human beings who made each journey,” Hanks stated in a release. “Through the extraordinary and unique production capabilities of Lightroom, the audience can see these incredible moments in a new and enthralling perspective.”
The exhibit focoses on the Apollo missions, and includes rare, restored NASA footage.
According to the NASA website, these missions were “a series of crewed spaceflights between 1961 and 1972 that achieved the national goal of landing humans on the moon and returning them safely to Earth.”

How long is the exhibit staying in Boston?
Due to popular demand, the “Moonwalkers” exhibit has been extended through the month of January 2026.
The exhibit opened in Boston over the summer.

Adults (16 and up) tickets are $46.50 each.
Admission for kids ages 5-15 is $36.50 each.
