BARBERTON, Ohio – The Barberton Mum Festival returns to Lake Anna Park Sept. 27-28.
The annual festival features 17,000 chrysanthemums hand-planted by color to create a beautiful mosaic. This year’s mum design and festival theme is “Catch the Buzz…Bee There!” The theme is a nod to the pollinators that make the blooming flowers possible.
The free festival is the city’s largest event and draws approximately 28,000 people each year, according to the event website.
Festival highlights include:
- Live music and entertainment, including roving performers, a water-ski show and canoe races
- Local craft vendors, food trucks and commercial vendors
- Mum sales and presales
Festival hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. Lake Anna Park is located at 615 W. Park Ave.
