Two Ocala singers who have steadily risen to stardom through their original songs and performances across the nation have just separately released two more singles, with both songs praising the singers’ Floridian roots and the United States of America.
Kendall Tucker and Noah Hunton released new singles this week. Tucker, a country/rap/rock artist, released “My Kind of Country” on Wednesday and Hunton released “Florida is Home” on Friday.

Both songs echo a sense of pride for Florida and for the United States of America, with lyrics that provide details on the singers personal relationships with their state and country, respectively.
“We’ll go drifting in the Springs where the manatees roll. Yeah, you are my girl and you gotta know, I’ll take you anywhere that you wanna go, that you wanna go. We got everything we need here and Florida, is home,” sings Hunton in his ballad.
Hunton was the Hometown Hero at this year’s Rock the Country festival in Ocala. Over the past two years, Hunton’s stardom has steadily grown, with opportunities to perform across the state and nation.
Over the past year and change, the country singer has released his first, full-length album, led a Rolling Stone’s Magazine competition, was nominated for multiple independent music awards, earned a chance to open for Dylan Scott and Cole Swindell, and still played some of the largest local stages in Ocala, including the inaugural Patriotic Skies event.

Tucker’s song opens with a shoutout to the Second Amendment, Brooks & Dunn, and freedom. The song focuses on several themes that bring about a sense of patriotism and American pride.
“Salute to the troops making it home, I got your six, you ain’t ever alone. That’s my kind of country. And respect to the flag in the sky, come get a piece of this American pie. That’s my kind of country,” sings Tucker in the chorus of his song.
Tucker, who grew up in Ocala, is a country/rap/rock artist whose musical influences ranged from Eminem and Linkin Park to Randy Travis. He too has seen his stardom rise over the past several years, having previously released music with the likes of Jelly Roll, Bubba Sparxxx, Uncle Kracker, and Colt Ford.
