Hallmark star Catherine Bell had a reunion with some cast members from her former series, Jag.
Fans were ecstatic to see the Good Witch star’s walk down memory lane.
Fans may know Jag created a spinoff series called NCIS, now airing season 23 beginning October 14, 2025 on CBS.
Catherine Bell may be known these days for Good Witch, but before the actress got involved with Hallmark, she was one of the stars on the CBS drama Jag. Playing Sarah “Mac” MacKensie, Catherine was on the show from season 2 until the series finale in April 2005.
For those who aren’t familiar with Jag, the show centered around a group of lawyers in the U.S. Navy. And even though it’s been two decades since it last aired on TV, Catherine got together with Patrick Labyorteaux (Budrick “Bud” Roberts), Steven Culp (Clayton Webb), Karri Turner (Harriet Sims), and Dana Sparks (Carolyn Imes) for a formal occasion. She posted a photo of the reunion on Instagram for fans to see.
“How did I age and everyone else stayed the same????” she wrote in the caption on September 15.
When her followers saw Catherine reunited with her TV family, they couldn’t hold back their excitement about what this all potentially could mean for the future.
“Dude, we need a reboot even if it’s a mini-series. Love you guys and damn that theme song = brilliance!!!” one person wrote in the comments. “Jag is one of my favorite most series… and i’m very happy to see this picture together!” another exclaimed. “Oh my word. I LOVE this. My favorite show ever!!! When was this reunion?” a different follower added.
It’s also cool to note that Jag‘s legacy is actually still in existence. The season 8 episodes “Ice Queen” and “Meltdown” (airing in 2003) introduced fans to a character named Leroy Jethro Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon). This role would eventually become the main lead on a spinoff called NCIS, which is airing season 23 on October 14, 2025 on CBS.
