Donald Trump has revealed he consumed “whatever the hell they served us” during the extravagant state banquet held in his honor this week at Windsor Castle.

The President spent two days at Windsor, welcomed by King Charles and Queen Camilla, commencing his visit on Tuesday and departing on Thursday.

On Thursday evening, after journalists inquired about what he considered the highlight of his UK visit, he expressed his enjoyment of being with the “wonderful” King while showering the Royal Family with compliments following the trip.

The polarizing US leader claimed he viewed more paintings “than any human being has ever seen,” and when questioned about his meal at the Windsor Castle banquet staged in his honor, he responded: “Whatever the hell they served us.”

Attendees at the opulent affair—graced by “the biggest people in the world,” according to Mr Trump—were served Hampshire watercress panna cotta with parmesan shortbread and quail egg salad. They were then served organic Norfolk chicken ballotine wrapped in courgettes, with a thyme and savory-infused jus.

“The artwork. I saw more paintings than any human being has ever seen, and statues. But they treated us great. They treated our country great.

“I view that as being really respectful for our country, the way they did it, because last night was beautiful.

“And we had the biggest people in the world there. That was respect for our country.”

When asked about the First Lady’s interaction with the Princess of Wales, Mr Trump responded: “She did. She thought she was great. I did, too. I sat with her last night, and Melania went with her today. She thought she was great—a very wonderful person. She went through a lot, too—but hopefully, that’s all gone.

“William is wonderful. And I knew Charles as a prince, and now I know him as a king, and he’s doing very well. It was a lovely trip and I thought the press was really nice.”
