Scenes from a British singer’s new viral music video have been shot in Bromley.
On Friday (September 19), Rachel Agatha Keen, known professionally as Raye, released her new single “Where Is My Husband!”.
The music video was shot at Bromley Palace, a historic and visually striking location, known for hosting a variety of professional filming and photography projects.
The video features Raye in a vintage-inspired setting, beginning in black and white before transitioning to colour, as she performs on stage in a bold red dress that reflects the theatrical and emotional tone of the song.
The official Bromley Palace Facebook page confirmed the filming location, praising the production, the outfits, and the energy on set.
In a statement on social media, Bromley Palace Park said: “Wow, wow, wow.
“The song, the outfits, the talent, the location.
“Filmed at Bromley Palace.”
The music video has already scooped over a million views, and, as of September 22, is the most trending music video, according to YouTube Charts.
The song “Where Is My Husband!” sees RAYE exploring themes of love, commitment, and frustration.
The lyrics follow someone eagerly waiting for their partner to commit, while worrying he may be involved with someone else.
Raye mixes humour and theatricality, with lines about imagining a wedding ring, praying for him to hurry, and expressing impatience at the wait.
Bromley Palace is managed by the Bromley Film Office, which works with artists and production companies to facilitate shoots on council land and public roads.
