LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Ahoy there, music lovers! Yächtley Crëw, the “titans of soft rock,” are sailing into the capital city to drop anchor at The Hall on Wednesday, September 24, for a unique, hit-filled evening.
The band, which formed in 2017, is known for its high-energy shows and nautical-themed attire. They bring a full-throttle set of soft-rock hits from artists like Steely Dan, Toto, Michael McDonald, and Boz Scaggs.

Sailor Hawkins, the band’s drummer and a founding member, said the group started as a fun side project to highlight songs they felt were overlooked.
“We just thought it would be fun to play music that at the time was, like, kind of guilty pleasure music,” Hawkins said. “We’re not a tribute to anything, we’re just playing songs out of a songbook from the late ’70s and early ’80s.”

Yächtley Crëw’s newest album, “Seas the Night”, features an original song called “Pain of Losing You,” which was written for the band by legendary songwriter Diane Warren.
Hawkins said that while working in the studio, the band focused on recreating the same vibe as the original yacht rock artists.
“We set out to do something that was very similar to what the artists that we perform sound like. We didn’t try to copy anything by any means.”

With an entertaining live show and a setlist of smash hits, the band’s performances have received high praise from fans.
“A lot of people tell us that they had the best night of their lives coming out to our show. Even the ones that didn’t know what to expect,” Hawkins said. “It makes me feel good because I just made somebody’s night. There’s nothing better than when you put a smile on somebody’s face; it’s awesome.”
Doors open at 7 p.m., with the band taking the stage at 8:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at LittleRockHall.com. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best nautical attire.
