James Gunn just released a deleted scene from Superman, showing Krypto and Mr. Terrific, and it was deleted for a good reason. The sequence shows Mr. Terrific trying to get Krypto to take him to his ship hovering above them. The mischievous Krypto is a menace as usual, and while Terrific tries to attract him with treats, the superdog ends up biting his ankle.
The cartoonish scene was no doubt aimed at younger audiences. However, the scene is grossly out of place as Krypto canonically does not bite without some hostile stimuli.
On the other hand, Zack Snyder’s deleted scene from Man of Steel was quite superior to it,…
