Real Housewives of Potomac alum Candiace Dillard Bassett is getting messy on her next album. Reality Tea got the chance to talk to Candiace about her upcoming project at Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea event hosted at City Winery NYC in September. The Bravo star dished that she isn’t holding back on her second album, describing it as “raw” and “stripped down.”

In Feburary 2025, Candiace released the first single off her sophomore album, titled, How Do You Live? The emotional ballad captures the feelings of heartbreak and moving on from past relationships. Fans have yet to hear the rest of the track list, but Candiace told us listeners can expect a whole lot of drama.
“I’m really excited about this next project,” she said. “I’m really hard on myself, especially about my music. I am the most proud of this work. It is raw, it is very stripped down. Just to be frank, I’m talking sh*t about everybody and everything. It was cathartic.”
Her next album isn’t the only project Candiace is excited about. The RHOP alum stars in Season 4 of The Traitors, which is expected to air in early 2026.
“It was like nothing I’ve ever done in my entire life,” she said of the upcoming season. “I was terrified. I really didn’t want to go, but I like to push myself. This was a huge challenge for me. My baby was eight months old when I left and you know, you don’t have a phone. You don’t have access to the outside world. The game is so intense. It is so rooted in secrecy, treachery, all these things. I’m really excited for everyone to see it. The cast is amazing.”
