Meghan Markle and Prince Harry gave more than just a rare interview on their family and recent trip to Disneyland on ABC’s The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland – Special Edition of 20/20. The couple also provided the network with a new photo of their children, Archie and Lilibet, at the park. Fans who watched the special shared the shot on social media:
The couple kept Lili and Archie’s face hidden, as they do in all photos they share of their children to protect their privacy.
Meghan previously shared a series of photos from the family trip in June. “Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!” she wrote.
In the interview, Meghan and Harry spoke more about their time at the theme park, where they went to celebrate Lili’s fourth birthday. Before even stepping inside, Archie and Lili were “like, ‘This is amazing!’” Harry recalled with a laugh. “I told them, ‘Guys, this isn’t even the front of it. Prepare yourself. You’re about to be blown away.’”
By the end of the day, Archie was eager to go back for his own birthday next May. Meghan touched on how special it was “for us to be able to have our own childhood memories and then watch that play out through our daughter’s birthday,” adding, “Archie said, ‘When’s my birthday?’”
Harry and Meghan give glimpses of their family life here and there. Earlier this week, their rep issued a rare statement about their children, shutting down a report claiming Harry had signed 6-year-old Archie up for the all-boys British boarding school he attended, Eton College.
“I can confirm that Prince Harry has not put Archie’s name down for Eton, and that the Duke has no plans to send his son to Eton,” the spokesperson told E!.
