Congratulations are in order for Scotty McCreery and his wife, Gabi McCreery, as the happily married couple has officially welcomed their second child, a boy named Oliver Cooke McCreery.

In a joint social media post, the spouses announced the sweet news, sharing a carousel of photos featuring the little bundle of joy.

“Oliver Cooke McCreery joined our family on September 18th 🥹🩵,” the caption reads on the Instagram post, dated Tuesday, Sept. 23. “Can’t imagine life without him, we love him so berry much!! 🫐.”

The first of eight adorable photos shows baby Oliver swaddled in a blanket and wearing the hospital’s pink, white, and blue beanie atop his head. He appears to be resting comfortably. The proud parents appear in the second shot with Gabi smiling and holding the baby in her arms while in the hospital bed.

McCreery, a season 10 American Idol winner, meanwhile, has one hand on his little boy and the other above his wife’s head as he smiles for the photo. The McCreerys didn’t reveal the weight or height of their wee one, but judging by the photos, he was born at full term.

Oliver now rounds out the family of four, which includes his two-year-old brother Merrick Avery McCreery. His older sibling was also on hand for the celebration. He posed alongside Oliver for a handful of images, including two with mom and dad sitting in for the pic.

Fans Congratulated the Couple in the Comments Section of the Post

Followers of the McCreerys turned out to deliver their congratulatory messages for the growing family, with one person writing, “Aweeeee 😍 🐺 welcome to the family 🙌❤️ He is such a beautiful babe. Congrats!”

“Congratulations! Wishing you all the best as y’all embark on this new chapter as a family of four!” Another person wrote.

A third person added, “Oh, congratulations to you both! I know big brother is really excited too!”

Scotty McCreery Revealed He Was Expanding His Family in May 2025

The McCreerys first announced they were expecting their second child in a joint post on Instagram on May 22.

“A new best friend coming this fall! 💙💙,” they captioned the post, which featured both mom and pop wearing white t-shirts with Merrick sitting in between them, sporting a sweater with the words “big brother’ spread across the front.

Earlier this year, reality started to set in for the “Bottle Rockets” star, 31, as he shared the nostalgia of the moments he will remember being a family of three and touring on the road.

“Last bus weekend as a family of 3!” McCreery wrote alongside a spread of photos that showed the family of three together, as well as the family dog, Moose, spending time on and outside of the bus.

McCreery now joins a long list of other country stars who have announced they are expecting or have already welcomed a baby in 2025. Some of those artists include HARDY, Thomas Rhett, Hailey Whitters, Charles Kelley of Lady A, and Chris Lane.
