She’s ready for another shot! As Season 24 of Dancing with the Stars heats up, Sherri Shepherd is on the sidelines wishing she could return, and this time, she wants to go all the way.
During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the talk show host and comedian dished on her DWTS experience, and explained why she’d jump at the chance to return to the dancefloor. Apparently, she had the time of her life.
Sherri Shepherd thinks her DWTS elimination was unfair
Sherri appeared on the Monday, September 22 episode of Watch What Happens Live, and an audience member asked her to name her “rose and thorns” from DWTS. Sherri competed back on Season 14, and you could see her eyes light up the moment they mentioned it.
“I think I was unfairly eliminated,” Sherri said. “I got eliminated doing the tango, and I love salsa, and bachata, and tango.”
She continued, “But I love being on the show because it’s such a family. I keep in touch with everybody.”
Sherri got eliminated pretty quickly in Season 14. She went home in Week 4. However, she still feels like she should be considered for a “fan favorite” season, should the DWTS producers decide to do that. Maybe if she starts practicing right now, she can at least make it to Week 5.
“I got to the fourth week, and I was eliminated, so I really want them, if they have a fan favorite, i would love to go back to Dancing With the Stars,” Sherri added. “I loved it. It was the best experience of my life.”
Dancing with the Stars airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+. It streams on Hulu the next day.
