Around 230 people are waiting in a growing queue for early bird tickets to an exclusive Nick Cave concert.
The Australian musician will perform along with the Bad Seeds in Preston Park, Brighton, on 31 July 2026.
People gathered outside Resident Music in Brighton before 10.00 BST on Thursday, when the Resident Records presale opens.
Simon Smith, who has been waiting since 07:30, said she was “very excited” to get a ticket.

“It’s good. It’s quite nice to come down and see Brighton early in the morning,” he told BBC Radio Sussex.
Zoe Cutting, who arrived at 07:37 “to be precise”, says she is especially looking forward to what is a unique opportunity.
“We don’t usually get to see him [Nick Cave] in Brighton anymore, because all of the venues are a bit too small,” she said.
Caroline Lewis, who had already been in the queue for three hours as of 08:30, says she is “absolutely desperate” to see the singer live.
“I am a big fan. I love his songs, I love his story, he’s so magical,” she said.
The 67-year-old, who lived in Brighton for more than two decades, is known for songs including Red Right Hand and Into My Arms.
Cave previously said he is “thrilled beyond words to return to my beloved Brighton”.
