Superfans platform Even has announced its latest partnership: it’s with distributor Too Lost. The latter will be promoting Even’s service to its 400,000 artists and labels, including putting Even into its dashboard for those clients.
This is a major deal for Even, as shown by the figures published by the company. In April, when it signed a deal with UnitedMasters, Even said it had onboarded more than 75,000 artists and 2,000 labels to its platform.
In its Too Lost announcement it says that “across the platform’s 3,000+ labels and distributors, over 500,000 artists now have access to Even”. The 400,000 figure earlier in this story shows how significant a chunk Too Lost is contributing to that total.
Even says that some Too Lost artists are already making money from its service: one DIY artist with 2,000 followers “earned $700 from 23 superfans, equal to 200,000 streams on a major DSP”, while another with 160 monthly listeners “made $200 in the first 24 hours of launch”.
