Michael Jackson Accusers Seek $400 Million in Lawsuit Over Alleged Abuse

New court documents reveal Wade Robson and James Safechuck are demanding a staggering $400 million in damages in their lawsuit against the estate of Michael Jackson.

The revelation came after John Branca and John McClain, the executors of the singer’s estate, filed a motion last week in response to his daughter Paris Jackson‘s request that the court require only partial payments until invoices are formally approved.

She also asked for paperwork detailing the legal fees to third-party firms from 2019 to 2023.

Paris claimed that a “closely-knit” group of attorneys have been “skimming money from the Estate, in plain view.”

Branca and McClain argued that withholding payment to these firms would result in “profoundly destabilizing consequences for the estate,” according to documents obtained by Us Weekly.

The estate’s executors also claimed that these measures proposed by Jackson would cause a crippling ripple effect, especially for the suit filed by Robson and Safechuck.

“The Estate would likely have to default … where numerous depositions, discovery matters, and other matters are scheduled to take place over the next several months, and where [Robson and Safechuck] are seeking $400 million,” the doc reads.

“It would be disastrous for the Estate to default in this case,” the doc stated.

According to TMZ, the amount sought by Robson and Safechuck in its lawsuit against the singer’s companies, MJJ Productions, and MJJ Ventures had not been known by the public.

Branca and McClain argued that, by siding with Jackson, the absence of these law firms would also impact other areas of interest to the singer’s estate.

“The Estate would also lose the benefit of counsel maintaining its intellectual property portfolio, the lifeblood of its businesses,” the doc reads. “The Estate would lose the benefit of legal advice regarding its numerous successful projects and investments … MJ One Cirque show, MJ: The Musical and the upcoming motion picture, Michael.”
