ARRI has announced Omnibar, a battery-powered, IP65-rated multi-color LED linear fixture available in two-foot (Omnibar 2) and four-foot (Omnibar 4) versions, each in black or blue/silver housing. Omnibar is available now in single sets, multi-unit transport sets, and a Creator Set for individual creators and small crews.
Omnibar delivers CRI 98 at 5600K and TLCI 98, with 32 pixel zones in the Omnibar 4 and 16 in the Omnibar 2. Units can be daisy-chained via the Omnibase hub, supporting up to 12 feet per chain and up to 24 feet total across two or more chains.
Interchangeable magnetic optics include a Round Diffuser for soft ambient light, a Flat Diffuser for controlled bar-like output, and an Intensifier for higher brightness output. The fixture can also be used open-face.
Mounting options include built-in magnets for attachment to metal surfaces, integrated connection points for safety cables or zip ties, the Omnigrip accessory for end-to-end connection or use with lighting stands via Omnipin, and Omniclip brackets for attachment at three angles.
The built-in battery provides a minimum runtime of two hours at full brightness. Control options include an onboard interface, Bluetooth app, wired DMX, and wireless control via an integrated TimoTwo CRMX chip.
