Michael Douglas is celebrating his love for wife Catherine Zeta-Jones.
On Thursday, September 25, the two-time Academy Award winner, 81 — who shares the same birthday as the Wednesday actress, 55 — shared a heartfelt post on Instagram in honor of the couple’s joint special day.
“To my birthday sister—what a joy celebrating another year with you!” Douglass captioned a selfie of himself and Zeta-Jones smiling on a golf cart. “Congratulations on your spectacular game at the Celebrity Ryder Cup. Happy Birthday to the love of my life @catherinezetajones ❤️ 🎂 🎉.”
The Tony Award winner, for her part, left a comment on Douglas’ post, writing, “Happy birthday darling❤️ I can’t think of anyone else to share a birthday with.♥️.”
Zeta-Jones also shared an Instagram carousel on her account filled with sweet snaps of her and the Marvel star throughout the years.
“Happy Birthday Michael! Sharing this special day with you is once in a lifetime!😘,” she captioned her post.
The couple — who tied the knot in 2000 and share children Dylan, 25, and Carys, 22 — were recently plagued by rumors about their marriage as a source told the National Enquirer last week that they were living separate lives amid Douglas’ retirement from acting.
“She has become more of a caretaker to him than a wife,” the source alleged. “Catherine wants to travel the world and play golf, do more movies and work with interesting people, and Michael can’t keep up with her.”
