British rocker Yungblud brought some punk-infused flair to Nashville’s Lower Broadway Sept. 25 as he delivered a soulful performance of John Prine’s “Angel from Montgomery” alongside Sierra Ferrell at Robert’s Western World.
“How you doing Nashville?” Yungblud said on stage. “I’m from England! And it’s my first time playing in a [expletive] bar here tonight so y’all better be supportive.”
He described the 1971 tune as “one of my favorite songs.” According to videos posted to social media, the rocker embraced his inner country star as he danced with a beer in his hand at the historic honkytonk.

Who is Yungblud?
Yungblud, born Dominic Richard Harrison, is a British singer and songwriter known for his loud, energetic punk-rock aesthetic and a genre-blending musical style that fuses punk, alternative rock and hip-hop.
He released his debut album, “21st Century Liability,” in 2018 and has since collaborated with major artists including Halsey, Travis Barker, and Machine Gun Kelly. His fourth studio album, “Idols,” dropped in June.
Most recently, Yungblud teamed up with legendary rock band Aerosmith — featuring Steven Tyler and Joe Perry — for their debut single, “My Only Angel,” part of their new EP “One More Time.”

The collaboration followed a tribute performance for the late Ozzy Osbourne at the 2025 MTV VMAs earlier this month.
In July, Yungblud also delivered a powerful rendition of the Black Sabbath ballad “Changes” during Osbourne’s “Back to the Beginning” farewell concert, an experience he described on social media as “probably the biggest honor of my life.”
“I will never forget you – you will be in every single note I sing and with me every single time I walk on stage,” he wrote on Instagram following the rock icon’s death on July 22.
