The Illinois Symphony Orchestra will kick off its 2025-26 season with a Star Wars-themed concert.
The event, titled Star Wars Greatest Hits, will feature music from all nine episodes of the Star Wars saga. Guest conductor Vince Lee will lead the orchestra in performances that include iconic battles and memorable moments from the films, according to a community announcement.
The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 10 at the First United Methodist Church in Springfield. A second performance is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at the ISU Center for the Performing Arts in Normal.

Tickets are available for purchase through the UIS Ticket Office in Springfield at 217-206-6160 and the ISU Center for the Performing Arts in Bloomington-Normal at 309-438-2535. Tickets can also be ordered online at ilsymphony.org/starwars. Prices range from $10 for students aged 24 and under to $70 for premium seating.
