Keira Knightley‘s kids may have an actor mom and a musician papa, but it seems they could care less about their mama’s acting roles.
In a recent interview with People, Knightley revealed that her two daughters couldn’t be more disinterested in her job. “Oh, they’re not interested in any way. They’re just like, ‘What?’ It makes no sense [to them]. One just thinks it’s kind of completely ridiculous, and the other one still thinks it’s all real on the TV. She says, ‘What do you mean you’re in the TV?’” she said.

For those who don’t know, the Oscar-nominated star shares two children with her husband of over 10 years, James Righton. They first welcomed Edie in May 2015, and fast-forward to Oct 2019, they welcomed their second daughter Delilah.
Now, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about her kids not caring about her job. In a previous interview with People in 2022, Knightley said her elder daughter, Edie, wasn’t particularly interested in her movies.
“I did a version of The Nutcracker a couple of years ago, and she actually came on set with me to that one when she was 3, so I thought, ‘Oh, this year maybe she wants to watch that?’ ” she said. “[But] she said ‘No.’ “
She added, “So she is completely uninterested in seeing me in any way at all on television, which is completely fair enough. I think that’s very healthy.”
