Actress Brooke Shields shared a humorous video that showed her interacting with a doll made in her likeness, released in 1982.
In the Instagram video, uploaded on September 29, Shields held the doll, which was wearing a blue sweater and white leggings. She then gave the toy a series of affirmations.
“You are enough. You matter. You’re strong. You’re sensitive. You’re a good person. You can do this,” said Shields to the collectible toy.
“Sometimes you just need some Monday affirmations with your doll. Weird? Yes. Affirming? Also yes. xx,” read the caption of the post.

Shields, who has worked as an actor and model, has been in the entertainment industry since she was a child. In a January 2025 interview with CBS, Shields got candid about what she has learned as she has gotten older. The 60-year-old said that she no longer feels “as judgmental about [herself].” In addition, she said she has stopped comparing herself to others.
She also said that she views being 60 as “the beginning of a new really exciting stage.”
“I’m happy to still be in the game, whatever game that is,” said Shields during the CBS interview.
She also said she doesn’t second-question her behavior in social situations, which was something that used to cause her anxiety.
