Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have separated after 19 years of marriage, according to multiple reports.
E! News confirmed that and the country music star and Oscar-winning actress had split on Monday, Sept. 29, and that the pair had been living apart “since the beginning of the summer.”
”Nicole’s sister [Antonia] has been a rock and the entire Kidman family has come together to support one another,” a source told PEOPLE.
“She didn’t want this,” they added. “She has been fighting to save the marriage.”
E! News also reported that the couple’s daughters — Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret — have been living with Kidman in their shared home in Nashville while Urban has been staying in a separate home in the city.
The longtime couple got married in June 2006. On June 25, Kidman posted an Instagram photo of her herself cuddled up to Urban with the caption, “Happy Anniversary Baby.”
Kidman recently finished filming “Practical Magic 2″ in London while Urban has been on his “High and Alive” world tour.
