British pop singer Lola Young has scrubbed her tour days after collapsing during a festival set in New York, she announced Sept. 30.
The rising star had last week played packed shows in Brooklyn and Philadelphia, and her tour schedule included returns to the cities in November.
Who is Lola Young?
On September 27, 2025, Lola Young was performing at the All Things Go festival in New York when she collapsed mid-set and had to be helped offstage by medics. The incident came only two nights after she played Brooklyn Steel and one night after a show at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, both part of her North American tour.
Young, born in London in 2001, rose to fame with her breakout single “Messy” and has since built a reputation for raw, emotional songwriting that blends pop, R&B, and soul. She’s released three studio albums, including “I’m Only F**king Myself” in September.
In an Instagram post, Young told fans she was canceling all upcoming dates, writing she needed “time to work on myself” and would be “going away for a while.” The announcement effectively halts promotion of her new album and leaves fans across the U.S. waiting indefinitely.
Young has been open about health struggles, including schizoaffective disorder, ADHD, addiction recovery, and past vocal cord issues that already canceled shows.
