Here’s how to watch Apple TV’s ‘Cape Fear’ series for free

Whether it’s the return of old reality show favorites like “Love Is Blind” and “Selling Sunset,” new seasons of runaway hits like “Nobody Wants This” and “Monster,” or even something new to check out, like the coming-of-age dramedy “Boots,” Netflix has a little something for everything this fall.

There are even a few new documentaries headed to the streamer — “Victoria Beckham” and “The Perfect Neighbor” — for those who need their monthly fill. Plus, some original movies that might end up becoming your next obsession.

Don’t know where to start? The list ahead has you covered with all the major upcoming Netflix releases to keep up with. And if you want to stay informed about all things streaming and entertainment in general, subscribe to the Culture Catchall newsletter.

From dramedies to thrillers and everything in between, here’s everything new and coming to Netflix in October.

‘Love Is Blind’ Season 9

Netflix’s favorite dating experiment is heading to Denver this season, as 32 new hopeful singles blindly enter the pods in search of love, and potentially, their future spouse. As always, those who get engaged will meet face-to-face and test their relationship until they make it to the altar, where they’ll find out if love is truly blind enough to make a life-long commitment.

Before you prepare to dive into the drama (because you know it’s coming), meet every cast member and stalk their socials here.

‘Monster: The Ed Gein Story’

Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s “Monster” series has a new subject this season: Ed Gein (Charlie Hunnam), known as the godfather of all serial killers. The show recalls the haunting story of Gein as the notorious 1950s murderer whose years-long killing spree and hidden house of horrors inspired horror classics like “The Silence of the Lambs,” “Psycho” and “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.”

The cast also includes Suzanna Son, Tom Hollander, Laurie Metcalf, Vicky Krieps, Olivia Williams, Joey Pollari, Tyler Jacob Moore, Charlie Hall, Will Brill, Mimi Kennedy, Robin Weigert, Lesley Manville and Addison Rae.

‘Boots’

“Boots” is a new hourlong, coming-of-age dramedy set in the tough world of the 1990s U.S. Marine Corps. The eight-episode series follows closeted Cameron Cope (Miles Heizer) and his best friend Ray McAffey (Liam Oh), the son of a decorated Marine, as they forge unlikely friendships among their fellow recruits and navigate the literal and metaphorical landmines of boot camp to discover their true selves.

‘Victoria Beckham’

Following last year’s documentary event about soccer star David Beckham, Netflix is turning the camera on the other famous Beckham in a new three-part docuseries. ‘Victoria Beckham,’ directed by Nadia Hallgren, promises to get up close and personal with the former Spice Girl, as it recalls her rise to unprecedented pop stardom, high fashion, and takes a look at her high-profile relationship with her famous husband.

‘The Diplomat’ Season 3

More schemes are afoot as “The Diplomat” returns for Season 3. After things came to a head last season, the show will pick up after ambassador Kate Wyler (Keri Russell) has accused Vice President Grace Penn (Allison Janney) — now the president — of hatching a terrorist plot and admitted she’s after the VP’s job. Per Season 3’s logline, “Kate steps into a role she never wanted, with a freedom she never expected,” as her husband (Rufus Sewell) plots to land her the vice presidency.” And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Others returning this season include David Gyasi, Ali Ahn, Ato Essandoh and Rory Kinnear, while Bradley Whitford and Aidan Turner are new to the cast.

‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 2

“Nobody Wants This” became a runaway rom-com hit last year, and now it’s back with even more romance. After sex podcaster Joanne (Kristen Bell) and rabbi Noah (Adam Brody) surprisingly fell in love last season, Season 2 promises to explore how the pair’s relationship deepens.

New faces joining the cast this season include Leighton Meester, Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky and Arian Moayed. Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Jackie Tohn, Michael Hitchcock, Stephanie Faracy, Paul Ben-Victor, Tovah Feldshuh, Sherry Cola and D’Arcy Carden also star.

‘Selling Sunset’ Season 9

Our favorite Sunset Strip agents are back for another brand new season of “Selling Sunset.” And although drama hit an all-time high last year between some of the veteran castmates, Chrishell Stause, Chelsea Lazkani, Emma Hernan, Nicole Young, Alaina Gold, Mary Fitzgerald, Amanza Smith, Bre Tiesi, and Jason and Brett Oppenheim are all set to return.

A new face is joining The Oppenheim Group, too: an agent named Sandra Vergara (and yes, she has some relation to the famous Sofía Vergara).

‘The Witcher’ Season 4

“The Witcher” looks a bit different this season, as Liam Hemsworth takes over for Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia for the show’s final two chapters. The logline for Season 4 states that “after the continent-altering events of Season 3, Geralt, Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and Ciri (Freya Allan) find themselves separated by a raging war and countless enemies. As their paths diverge and their goals sharpen, they stumble on unexpected allies eager to join their journeys. And if they can accept these found families, they just might have a chance at reuniting for good.”

Newcomers to the cast include Laurence Fishburne as Regis, James Purefoy as Skellen, Danny Woodburn as Zoltan and Sharlto Copley as Leo Bonhart.

Movies

‘The Woman in Cabin 10’

A lavish yacht trip turns deadly when a woman is the only witness to a murder in “The Woman in Cabin 10.” The thriller, based on Ruth Ware’s bestselling novel, stars Keira Knightley as a journalist who sees a passenger get thrown overboard one night, only to be told the incident didn’t happen after all passengers and crew members are accounted for. She puts her own life at risk when she goes looking for answers.

The film also stars Guy Pearce, Hannah Waddingham, David Ajala, Art Malik, Kaya Scodelario, David Morrissey, Daniel Ings and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.

‘The Perfect Neighbor’

Viewers see the realities of “stand your ground” laws and prejudice unfold as the result of a deadly crime in Geeta Gandbhir’s Sundance-winning documentary “The Perfect Neighbor.” Using police bodycam footage, the film depicts a tight-knit community experiencing relentless harassment by one neighbor, whose hostile actions led to the fatal 2023 shooting of Ajike Owens.

‘A House of Dynamite’

“A House of Dynamite” is the newest political thriller hitting Netflix this fall. The film, directed by Kathryn Bigelow, stars Rebecca Ferguson as a Situation Room senior duty officer who must trace the source of a lone nuclear missile heading toward the U.S. and find out who’s responsible.
