A sparkly evening at the Kingsport Public Library for Taylor Swift album launch party

KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Kingsport Public Library (KPL) welcomed local Swifties for a launch party for Taylor Swift’s new album, The Life of a Showgirl.

KPL Director Stephanie Griffin said the evening was full of sparkles, crafts, and, of course, new music.

Attendee Caroline O’Connor said the event’s atmosphere was fun, and told News Channel 11 about what the KPL had going on.

“So far, I have really enjoyed it. The little kids and how excited they are just to hear the music and they don’t really care about what’s going on, they are just happy to be here, which you’d love the enthusiasm.”

The library set up a table filled with Taylor Swift-themed books, along with bracelets and photo opportunities featuring props that represented all of Swift’s different eras.
