The first celebrity to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing 2025 has reportedly been leaked
Strictly Come Dancing enthusiasts have been left ‘heartbroken’ after the result of the first elimination was accidentally revealed early.
The 2025 Strictly lineup took to the floor for their second live performance on Saturday (October 4), and whilst the pre-recorded results programme will broadcast this evening, details of those facing the dance-off and the eliminated celebrity have surfaced online.
Last night’s second live show witnessed former Love Island champion Amber Davies claim the top spot on the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard, after replacing fellow ITV2 dating programme winner Dani Dyer-Bowen.
Amber achieved 29 points for her samba to Bam Bam by Ed Sheeran and Camila Cabello alongside her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin, with judge Craig Revel Horwood declaring he “loved, loved, loved” the routine.
The participants’ marks from the opening live show were combined with this week’s scores, giving Amber and Nikita a combined total of 56 points, before the public vote tally is included for Sunday’s (October 5) results programme.
Securing second position was ex-Emmerdale star Lewis Cope with his partner Katya Jones, who delivered the Viennese waltz to Lose Control by Teddy Swims, earning 27 points, despite Revel Horwood commenting it was “a little bit up and down”.
Nevertheless, at the opposite end of the scale, ITV’s entertainment correspondent Ross King and dancer Jowita Przystal find themselves in danger of the inaugural dance-off after managing just 15 points for their waltz to Sunshine On Leith by The Proclaimers.
They secured the lowest score of 10 last week, giving them an overall total of 25. This week, Ross was brought to tears following the performance, describing himself as the poster boy for “older men” who “can’t dance”, having had his confidence shaken after last weekend’s showing, reports the Mirror.
Also facing difficulty is former The Apprentice star Thomas Skinner and his professional partner Amy Dowden, who concluded the show with a combined score of 29, having delivered the salsa to Bonkers by Dizzee Rascal and Armand Van Helden, achieving just 13 points.
Before giving them a two, Craig commented on the routine: “It looked like you were competing at a weightlifting competition in Skegness darling, it was all just powerlifts.”
Nevertheless, some Strictly fans have been left ‘gutted’ after a leaked spoiler disclosed which celebrity and their professional partner became the first to depart Strictly 2025, despite some believing it was the ‘right choice’.
The results show broadcasts on Sunday but is pre-recorded on the Saturday evening following the live show, meaning that the identity of the eliminated star is frequently leaked online – and whilst we won’t be disclosing the bottom two or exit results, fans have already been responding online.
One posted: “The right result! #StrictlySpoiler.” Another viewer commented: “Gagged at the first #StrictlySpoiler but so relieved! I thought they’d survive a few Eliminations at least!”.
A third shared: “The correct result although I’m surprised that this person went straight into the dance off and I thought they’d have been more popular.”
A fourth queried: “Anyone else gutted for [blank]? #strictlyspoiler.” Another added: “Feel desperately sorry for the pro in this partnership.”
