Keith Urban seemingly let his emotions show on stage just days after news broke of his split from Nicole Kidman.
In a viral clip on TikTok, the country star surprised fans on Saturday, October 4, with a fiery lyric change that had many speculating about his state of mind during his 2002 breakup anthem “You’ll Think of Me.”
Instead of the original line, “Take your memories, I don’t need ’em / Take your space and take your reasons,” Urban swapped in, “Take your memories, I don’t need ’em / Take your space and all your stupid bulls**t reasons.” He followed it up with the pointed comment, “You shouldn’t have treated me this way.”
Fans clearly picked up on the passion in his singing according to the comments on the video.
“Keith Urban crashing out on stage was not on my 2025 Bingo card,” one user wrote, while another stated, “He is obviously angry.”
Another speculated, “Recovering addict here. I think he’s relapsed, that crash out looks fueled by something else.”
“He is singing with anger which says to me. there is more to this story than what everyone thinks and its not all Keith,” shared another.

Urban, 57, and Kidman, 58, confirmed their separation on September 29 after nearly two decades of marriage. According to TMZ, the couple had spent the summer apart before Kidman officially filed for divorce in Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences. The outlet also noted that on October 2, the rocker was spotted without his wedding ring on. The couple share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
A day earlier, Kidman was seen publicly for the first time since initiating the divorce. The actress was photographed taking a hike in Nashville, Tennessee, with photos published by The Daily Mail showing Kidman dressed casually walking alongside her younger sister, Antonia Kidman.
Despite the personal turmoil, Urban’s tour continues. His next stop is set for October 9 in Fort Worth, Texas.
