Pop-punk meets hyperpop duo LL have just shared a brand-new music video for MEDIC.
The pair – producer/songwriter La+ch and vocalist/fashion designer Jodie Lee, who describe what they do as bringing ‘glittery barbie vomit to real life in stereo’ – dropped their debut album 5150 in August via 604 Records.
Now, they’re keeping the momentum thundering on with the accompanying promo for two-minute bop MEDIC, which comes with an apt surgeon general’s warning in the intro: ‘Listening to LL greatly increases serious risks to your health.’ Then, as Jodie sings, ‘Please be my medic ’til I die / I’d never wanna have to say goodbye,’ the duo find themselves rocking out in – and on top of – an ambulance while covered in cuts and bruises.
