Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have been married almost three decades — and the country superstar penned a touching tribute to his wife to celebrate their 29th wedding anniversary.
“29 years ago, on this day Oct 6 1996, I was on cloud 9! I was marrying the girl of my dreams, she was everything, my complete soulmate!” McGraw, 58, wrote alongside a sweet photo of him and Hill, 58, shared via Instagram on Monday, October 6. “We have been through so much together, our girls growing up, me trying to grow up, and you, you, you, always there, always there for all of us when we fell, always you when we triumphed, always you.”
“When we love, when we live, when we think of how to love, live and dream, always you,” he added, before concluding: “You are my girl, I love you with a fire that grows each passing year.”
Several friends and family celebrated the couple in the comments section, with Brad Paisley’s wife, Kimberly Williams Paisley, writing, “This is the sweetest. Happy anniversary!!”

The couple’s youngest daughter, Audrey McGraw, also chimed in, commenting, “Awwwww, love y’all.”
The pair first met in 1994, when they were both rising stars on the country music scene, but sparks didn’t fly until two years later when Hill was McGraw’s opening act on his Spontaneous Combustion Tour in 1996.
That same year, they officially tied the knot at a surprise wedding in the “Live Like You Were Dying” singer’s aunt’s home in Rayville, Louisiana. Over the next few years, they welcomed three daughters, Gracie in 1996, Maggie in 1998 and Audrey in 2001.
