Just days after Taylor Swift dropped her newest album, The Life of a Showgirl, she was not in attendance at her fiancé Travis Kelce’s football game. The Kansas City Chiefs are playing the Jacksonville Jaguars in Jacksonville, Florida; starting last year, Swift only attended home games in Kansas City, and this year appears to be no different. In addition, tonight, Swift will appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and on Wednesday, she will be on Late Night with Seth Meyers, both of which tape in New York City.
Many songs on Swift’s new album are seemingly about Kelce, including “Opalite” and “Wood.” In numerous interviews promoting Showgirl, too, she’s discussed her fiancé. This morning, on The Scott Mills Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2, Swift said she will never stop making music. “I love the person that I am with because he loves what I do and he loves how much I am fulfilled by making art and making music,” Swift said. “That’s the coolest thing about Travis, like he’s is so passionate about what he does, that me being passionate about what I do, it connects us. There’s no point in time where he’s gonna be like, ‘I’m really upset that you’re still making the music. The music thing that I signed up for that I knew you love, I thought you were gonna stop doing that.’”
She added it is “the most fun thing in the world to be able to support each other… we’re both competitive, like in fun ways, not in ways that eat away at us, but just like we just love it.”
Last night, Kelce celebrated his birthday by attending the theatrical release for The Life of a Showgirl with his mom, Donna, and his aunt and uncle.
