KISS legend cancels rest of 2025 tour due to ‘ongoing medical issues’

Ace Frehley is off the road for the rest of 2025.

The legendary original KISS guitarist made the announcement just two weeks after he was forced to pull out of the Antelope Valley Fair in Lancaster, California after he suffered minor injuries from a fall in his home.

Frehley made the announcement on social media with a statement that read, “Due to some ongoing medical issues, Ace has made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of his 2025 dates.”

Blabbermouth.net reported that the 74 year old rock star was forced to pull out of the Antelope Valley Fair it was on doctor’s orders that he avoid traveling so that he can better heal from his injuries.

The outlet reported that Frehley has been touring with a backing band that includes Ryan Spencer on bass, Jeremy Asbrock on guitar and Scot Coogan on drums.

The site said he also told SiriusXM’s “Trunk Nation with Eddie Trunk,” that he was working on “Origins Vol. 3” which is his sequel to his 2016 and 2020 collections of cover songs that inspired him.

Fans and followers were quick to respond to Frehley’s post on Instagram with well-wishes.

“Take care and take all the time you need, Ace!!” one person replied. “I love you greatly, I will pray a lot for you and I really hope you get better very soon.”

“Speedy recovery Ace, please take I easy and take care,” Flash Frehley wrote. “Space Bear Joe and I send our love and best wishes all the way from Australia.”

“We love you, Ace!” another wrote. “Please look after yourself and we all wish you the best, always!”
