Tori Amos has announced her new album ‘In Times Of Dragons’ and an accompanying UK and European tour for 2026.
The singer-songwriter’s 18th studio album will be released in the spring of next year and will see her reckoning with the current state of politics and society in the US.
To go alongside the record’s release, Amos will play an extensive tour in April and May 2026, her largest European tour in a decade that will take place in 17 countries. She will be joined by longtime collaborators Jon Evans (bass) and Ash Soan (drums) and will play music from the new album alongside highlights from her career.
Speaking about the album, Amos has said: “’In Times of Dragons’ is a metaphorical story about the fight for Democracy over Tyranny, reflecting the current abhorrent non accidental burning down of democracy in real time by the ‘Dictator believing Lizard Demons’ in their usurpation of America.”
Amos kicks off in Sheffield’s City Hall on April 8, followed by dates in Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Belfast and Dublin, before a huge show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on April 21. From there she heads around mainland Europe, wrapping up at Vilnius’ Compensa Hall on May 30.

Elsewhere, Amos was recently among over 1,000 artists to release a silent album in protest at planned changes to copyright AI laws planned by the UK government. With contributions from the likes of Damon Albarn, Kate Bush and Annie Lennox, the album was called ‘Is This What We Want?’ and was completely silent, with the aim of drawing attention to the potential impact that AI could have on the music industry.
In 2023, Amos also released a version of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Swimming Pools (Drank)’ alongside the legendary producer Trevor Horn.
