The Palm Springs Cultural Center has a robust lineup of films, shows and more during the 2025/2026 season.
As the temperatures get milder in the desert, the seasonal activities, events and shows begin to ramp up, and that’s certainly the case for the Palm Springs Cultural Center.
The hub for all kinds of entertainment, from film series and live music performances to theater and tasty bites, has a stacked lineup throughout the fall and winter months. Here’s what you can catch in the coming months at the historic center.
Weekly VIP Lounge returns Oct. 10
The Cultural Center’s weekly music VIP Lounge returns with a robust lineup beginning Oct. 10 through May 2026.
The VIP Lounge hosts an eclectic mix of signature series including Mon Petit Salon, a French jazz soirée; Melba Miller’s Jazz Oasis, which blends straight jazz and timeless standards; Cocktails and Cabaret, a fizzy blitz of yacht rock, Rat Pack classics and silly stories featuring the original Fizzblitzer cocktail; American Guest House, which spotlights singer-songwriter folk artists; Razzle Dazzle: A Broadway Revue, where local talent brings beloved and new show tunes to life; and Dusty Strings, which showcases rising stars in folk and Americana.

Film series include Alfred Hitchcock retrospective, campy and interactive movies
Cinephiles will have plenty of classics to see on the big screen this season.
The Cultural Center’s highly popular Alfred Hitchcock Retrospective series continues with more screenings of the master of suspense’s work. The lineup includes “The Man Who Knew Too Much” on Nov. 14 and “Foreign Correspondent” on Dec. 5.
Additionally, authors Steven C. Smith and Laurence Maslon will hold a book signing and reception during the Nov. 14 screening. Smith will be signing his new book “Hitchcock and Herrmann: The Friendship and Film Scores that Changed Cinema,” while Maslon will be signing “Hitchcocktails: Lethal Libations Inspired by the Master of Suspense.” The reception runs 6 to 6:45 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. screening of the film and a post-film Q&A with Smith, Maslon and series co-host Richard L. Edwards.
The Cultural Center is also hosting an Among Friends Interactive series, during which moviegoers are encouraged to dress up and have a ball. Things kick off with the “Tootsie” Big Wig Party on Oct. 16. A cocktail party gets the vibes going at 6 p.m., where there is going to be a Wig Spotlight Contest and live music before the movie begins at 8 p.m. Other films in the series include “Xanadu” on Nov. 26, “Auntie Mame” on Dec. 26, “Airplane” on Jan. 27, “The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert” on Feb. 25, “Wicked” on March 19, “Valley of the Dolls” on April 23 and “What Ever Happened To Baby Jane?” on May 28.
Other series include the 100% Club, which spotlights certified fresh films on the big screen. Those include “Cool Hand Luke” on Oct. 8, “The Gold Rush” and “The Kid” on Oct. 15, “Stagecoach” on Oct. 22 and “Seven Samurai” on Oct. 29. Films begin at 7 p.m.

Drag takeover with Rainbow Entertainment shows
A city such as Palm Springs has its fair share of drag entertainment options, whether it be brunch shows or late-night gigs. But a lineup featuring magic shows, Tony-Award winning productions and more is about to take center stage at the Camelot Theatre.
Performances include a one-woman storytelling and song show with Miss Coco Peru on Oct. 18, where she will discuss all the things wrong with the world and how she continues to push past all the noise; “Las Vegas Showgirl: Unleashed” on Oct. 25, which celebrates Edie’s 30-year career as one of the country’s top drag personalities; “Witch, Please!” on Nov. 13-15, which features Sutton Lee Seymour’s hilarious twists, turns, tornadoes and takes on “The Wizard of Oz” and “Wicked” ahead of the release of “Wicked: For Good”; Jordon Carnegie’s performance of “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” on Nov. 20-22; Miss Uchawi’s Drag Queen Magic Show on Jan. 30-31, 2026; and so much more.

Weekly Foodie Fridays, farmers market
Looking for some tasty bites and fresh, local produce? The Cultural Center has you covered.
Foodie Fridays, a weekly pop-up event held 5-8 p.m. every Friday, returns this season with bites from local food trucks and live music outside the Cultural Center. The nightly market launched earlier this year in hopes to give locals and visitors something new to do on Friday nights, especially if they don’t want to go out to bars or make dinner reservations.
Foodie Fridays is free to attend, with vendor prices around $9 to $15.
Additionally, the Palm Springs Certified Farmers Market takes place 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday in the center’s parking lot. The market is free and open to the public, and features a variety of vendor booths selling fruits and vegetables, produce, home goods and other items.
