The panel, celebrating the long-running franchise, brought together Weaver and her 1979 co-star Veronica Cartwright.
Weaver shared that producer Walter Hill had written 50 pages exploring where Ellen Ripley would be now. She called the pages “quite extraordinary” and said they reflect a society that sidelines someone who tried to help humanity.
