Donald Trump was a bit upset last night. The President was featured in a cover story for Time about his role in the Gaza peace deal. But POTUS had a more pressing concern. He seemingly spent his evening seething over the choice of photo used by the mag, taking to social media to express his frustration.
Donald Trump asked “why” TIME Magazine used a picture “from underneath angles”
No one likes to see a bad photo of themselves – especially when it’s on the cover of a magazine. However, it had to be said that most world leaders would probably keep their disapproval to themselves.
But Trump couldn’t resist taking his qualms to social media. Writing on Truth Social, he said the snap the publication had used “may be the Worst of All Time.”
The President got into specifics: “They ‘disappeared’ my hair, and then had something floating on top of my head that looked like a floating crown, but an extremely small one.”
He added the choice was “really weird,” writing “never liked taking pictures from underneath angles, but this is a super bad picture, and deserves to be called out. What are they doing, and why?”
It wasn’t all bad, though. He did find time to mention that the actual story was “relatively good.”
British TV personality Jameela Jamil seemingly predicted the President’s disappointment. On Time’s Instagram post showing the cover image, she wrote: “He’s not going to love this photo.”
Other commenters weren’t subtle in their disapproval of the mag’s choice of cover star. One Insta user wrote: “There’s still time to delete this.”
Another added: “This is preposterous.”
Others mentioned the offending photo. One person noted: “The story is meh but that photo angle is wildddd,” while another added: “lol thanks for the laugh.”
Trump also reportedly expressed his disapproval of Bad Bunny being chosen for the Super Bowl half time show.
