Kevin Federline shares a terrifying claim about ex-wife Britney Spears in his new memoir, via The New York Times.
When they were younger, Federline claims his and Spears’ sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, described their mother’s erratic behavior and told him they didn’t want to stay at her house, the former dancer, 48, explains in the book.
“They would awaken sometimes at night to find her standing silently in the doorway, watching them sleep — ‘Oh, you’re awake?’ — with a knife in her hand,” K-Fed writes. “Then she’d turn around and pad off without explanation.”

Federine — who told the New York Times in a story published on Tuesday, October 14 — that he hadn’t spoken to his ex-wife “in years,” was awarded custody of the boys in October 2007, a few months before the very public meltdown that would lead to the pop star, 43, being placed under a controversial conservatorship.
The conservatorship ended in 2021, but the “Toxic” singer revealed in an August 24 Instagram post that she had been “cut off from calling or texting” the boys for three years, which she called “the hardest of my life.”
Spears, who infamously alarmed fans in 2023 when she posted a video of herself dancing with knives on Instagram, finally reunited with Jayden last December.
“Best Christmas of my life!!!” she wrote on Instagram. “Tears of joy and literally in shock.”
Federline’s memoir, You Thought You Knew, will be released on Tuesday, October 21.
